Yvonne Toussaint, Esq.

Yvonne C. Toussaint, Esquire is a Broker Associate with RE/MAX St. Croix, and a real Caribbean Woman.  She was born in Trinidad and Tobago and has adopted St. Croix and the other Virgins as her home for the last forty years.  She says, “I just love the Virgin Islands and it is such a pleasure showing our Caribbean island with its beautiful waters and rolling hills to all visitors that grace our shores.”

She is a graduate of The University of the Virgin Islands with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.   She worked as a secretary to the Late Judge Irwin J. Silverlight and also a Court Reporter at the Territorial Court of the Virgin Islands (now the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands).  She served as Supervisor of both the Criminal and Civil Divisions of the Court.   Her love for the law and her quest for knowledge led her to obtain a Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.  After graduation she worked for a while assisting in civil litigation and probate matters with the Law Office of Gertrude LeCointe.   She then worked with the Office of the Territorial Public Defender as a successful defense attorney for approximately 9 years.

Her knowledge of the law; her outgoing personality; her love for the Virgin Islands and her love for people of all backgrounds makes her the person you would want to go to, to handle your real estate needs.  She is gracious, very humble and a joy to work with.
